## Sets

**What is a Set in Boxa?**
A Set is a collection of combos. Pick a Set, tap start, and Boxa calls them out one by one while you train. Ready-made Sets are included, or create your own.

**How do I create a Set in Boxa?**
Tap the + button on the Sets tab. Three options: pick a ready-made Set from the library, generate one with the combo generator, or create a blank Set from scratch.

**How do I create a blank Set in Boxa?**
Tap the + button on the Sets tab, then tap Create Blank. Name your Set and add combos. Each combo is a sequence of moves you pick from the move list. Drag to reorder, swipe to delete.

**How do I edit a Set in Boxa?**
Tap a Set card and tap Edit. Remove a combo by swiping left, reorder combos by dragging, or rename the Set by tapping its name at the top. To add a new combo, tap Add Combo at the bottom.

**How do I add a combo in Boxa?**
From the Set editor, tap Add Combo. Pick moves from the library to build your combo manually, tap Generate to create one with the combo generator, or tap Copy to pull combos from another Set. When building manually, moves are organized by side (left, right, and defensive moves). Long-press a move to select its body variant. Tap a move already in the sequence to remove it. Tap Add Combo to save it to the Set.

**How do I add a ready-made Set in Boxa?**
Tap the + button on the Sets tab. A library of ready-made Sets appears, organized by training focus. Tap any Set to preview its combos, then tap Add This Set. You can customize it after adding. A daily "Today's Pick" is highlighted at the top.

**How do I delete a Set in Boxa?**
Tap a Set card, tap Edit, then tap Delete This Set at the bottom. If the Set is used in any Sessions, you'll see which Sessions will be affected or deleted.

## Sessions

**What is a Session in Boxa?**
A Session is a timed workout built from multiple Sets, rest breaks, and custom activities. The app moves through each element automatically. Think of it as your full training plan for a session.

**How do I create a Session in Boxa?**
Tap the + button on the Sessions tab. Two options: pick a ready-made Session from the library, or create a blank Session from scratch.

**How do I create a blank Session in Boxa?**
Tap the + button on the Sessions tab, then tap Create Blank. Add Sets, breaks, and activities. Set the duration for each element. The app moves through them in order automatically.

**How do I edit a Session in Boxa?**
Tap a Session card and tap Edit. Remove an item by swiping left. Reorder items by holding the drag handle and dragging to a new position. Tap any item to change its duration. Rename the Session by tapping its title at the top. With Plus, you can also set a custom speed and combo order per Set within the Session.

From the Session editor, tap Add Item. You'll see your available Sets, rest breaks, and custom activities. Tap any item to add it, then use the time slider to set its duration. ## Combo generator

**How do I use the combo generator in Boxa?**
Tap the + button on the Sets tab, then tap Generate Set. Select which moves to include, set the max combo length, and tap generate. Review the results, remove or shuffle individual combos, generate more, then save as a new Set. The generator is also available from Add Combo inside a Set editor, where it generates a single combo to add directly.

## Moves & technique

**How do I enable moves in Boxa?**
Open Settings and tap My Moves. Moves are organized by type: punches, kicks, elbows and knees, defense, footwork, and custom moves. Tap a group to toggle all moves in it on or off. Only enabled moves appear in the combo builder when you add a combo. At least one strike must stay enabled.

**How do I create custom moves in Boxa?**
Open Settings, tap My Moves, then tap Create Custom Move. Name your move, choose its side (left, right, both, or none), and optionally add a body variant. These can't be changed after creation. Set its duration ratio (how long the move takes relative to a jab) and pick a color. For "both" side moves, you can set separate durations for left and right. A live preview shows how the move will look. Custom moves appear alongside built-in moves in the combo builder and are called out by name during workouts.

**How do I create custom activities in Boxa?**
Custom activities are timed non-boxing drills (rest, jump rope, stretching, etc.) you can add to Sessions. Open Settings and tap My Activities, or create one directly from the Session editor. Give it a name and pick a color. Once created, it appears as an option when adding items to any Session.

**How do I learn boxing technique?**
The built-in Move Guide covers basic stance, fist positioning, and detailed form instructions for every punch, kick, slip, weave, and roll. Body position diagrams adjust for your stance setting (Orthodox or Southpaw). Open it from the body icon at the top of the home screen.

## Settings

**How do I change the voice in Boxa?**
Open Settings and tap Voice. Pick from any text-to-speech voice installed on your device. Available voices vary by language and device.

**How do I add more voices to Boxa?**
Boxa uses your device's built-in text-to-speech voices. To install more, follow the guide for [iOS](https://support.apple.com/en-us/111798) or [Android](https://support.google.com/accessibility/android/answer/6006983). New voices appear in Boxa automatically.

**How do I make the voice faster in Boxa?**
Open Settings and tap Voice Speed. Four options: Slow, Normal, Fast, and Very Fast. This controls how quickly the voice speaks, not how often combos are called. That's the Speed setting.

**How do I change the speed in Boxa?**
Tap the +/- buttons during a workout to speed up or slow down. You can also set a default speed in Settings. Speed controls how often combos are called, from slow drilling to fight pace. With Plus, you can set a custom speed per Set within a Session.

**How do I change the language in Boxa?**
Open Settings and tap Language. The full app and all voice callouts switch to the selected language. Available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and German.

**How do I hear the full combo called at once in Boxa?**
Open Settings and turn on "Full combo up front." Instead of calling moves one by one as you execute them, Boxa calls out all moves in the combo together at the start.

**How do I switch to lead/rear instead of left/right in Boxa?**
Open Settings and tap Side Labels. Switch from Left/Right to Lead/Rear. All callouts, move names, and the move guide update to match. Useful if you train both stances or prefer stance-neutral cues.

**How do I switch between Orthodox and Southpaw in Boxa?**
Open Settings and tap Orthodox or Southpaw. This flips all left/right labels throughout the app. Combo callouts, move names, and move guide diagrams all adjust to match your stance.

**How do I hide Plus features in Boxa?**
Open Settings and toggle "Hide Plus features." Plus badges and Plus-only features disappear.

**How do I call my combos in order in Boxa?**
By default, combos are called in random order. To call them sequentially, set combo order to Sequential in the Set or Session settings. You can also set combo order per Set within a Session. This is a Plus feature.

**How do I make some combos come up more often in Boxa?**
Tap a combo in the Set editor to adjust its priority weight. Higher weight means it comes up more often in random mode. This is a Plus feature.

## Plus & multi-device

**What does Boxa Plus unlock and how do I get it?**
One-time purchase (no subscription). Unlocks: unlimited Sets, Sessions, custom moves, and activities; sequential combo order; combo priority; per-Set speed and combo order overrides within Sessions; cross-device access. Purchase from the Plus screen in the app. Restore previous purchases from Settings. Free users can hide all Plus UI from Settings.

**How do I use Boxa in a browser?**
Go to app.boxa.app. The full app runs in any browser, no download needed. With Plus, your purchase carries over from mobile via your email.

**How do I use Boxa on multiple devices?**
Boxa works on iPhone, Android, and any web browser at app.boxa.app. With Plus, your purchase is shared via email across devices. Open the app on any platform and sign in.

## Troubleshooting

**Voice callouts aren't working.**
Check your device's text-to-speech settings. On Android, make sure a TTS engine is installed and the language is downloaded. On iOS, check Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content. If callouts cut out mid-session, try toggling Bluetooth off/on or switching to your phone speaker. This is almost always a device audio routing issue, not the app.

**Combos are too fast.**
Speed is adjustable mid-workout. Tap the minus button to slow down. Adjustable from slow drilling to fight pace. Start at 2 or 3 and work up. No need to pause or restart.

**Can I hear numbers instead of punch names?**
Yes. Toggle "Call punch numbers" in settings. Callouts switch to 1, 2, 3 instead of jab, cross, hook. Body shots call as 1b, 2b, etc. Same system real coaches use.

**How do I contact support?**
Email support@boxa.app. Also at the bottom of the settings screen in the app.
